The 20V MAX Battery Adapter allows most of DEWALT’s 18V tools to operate off of the advanced Lithium Ion battery technology. With a collection of over 40 tools in the DEWALT 18V system – and users who continue to operate them on jobsites all over the country – the adapter makes it possible to continue to use fully-functional DEWALT tools on the Lithium Ion premium battery platform. In addition, 20V MAX batteries offer a wider range of capacities, allowing users to choose the optimal battery for the application. Allows for use of 20V MAX Batteries in most DEWALT 18V Tools  Adapter requires the use of 20V MAX Chargers  Adapter will not fit in DEWALT 18V Chargers  Do not use with Premium Batteries (DCB200, DCB204, DCB204BT, DCB205) in 18V Compact drills DC970, DC759 (use DCB201, DCB203, DCB203BT)  Adapter will not work with 20V/60V FLEXVOLT Batteries  Includes: (1) 18V – 20V MAX Adapter  (2) DCB203 20V MAX XR Lithium Ion Batteries (2.0Ah)  12V/20V MAX Charger  Note: The battery adapter cannot be used in conjunction with an 18V XRP battery charger. The DCA1820 will not function with the following: DW9116, DW9117, DC9310, DC9319, DC9320, DCB103, or previous model chargers; DC628K, DC618K, DC616K, DC608K, or DC608B Nailers; DC020, DC022, DCL060, or DCL061 Lights; DC018, DW911, DC011, and DC012 Radio.
